D557MLT – Metal Frame Type

Since the mid-90s, the name HYUNDAI has been synonymous with

the design and production of state-of-the-art display technolo-

gies. Advanced devices offering sophisticated design and supreme

image quality – with ”built-in” future-prooﬁ ng.

The transﬂ ective displays technology contains a combination of-

both the conventional backlight transmissive mode as well as re-

ﬂ ective mode characteristics. By using a rear reﬂ ector, sunlight

reﬂ ections increase the display’s brightness.In case of darker

ambient light conditions the backlight ensures the required dis-

play brightness. By the use of the ambient light for increasing

the brightness, the power consumption of the backlight will be

reduced and less heat is generated. This leads to a longer lifetime

of the display.
